Course Content

Here are some of the topics that are covered in this course:

One of the premises of the course is that an “anxious mind can’t exist in a relaxed body” so the first goal is to develop a strategy for completely relaxing the physical body and this is covered in the first module.

In Module 2, you’ll learn a technique for releasing emotional and mental stress that you can apply to specific situations that are going on for you right now, to painful memories from your past or to worries and fears about your future.

In Module 3, you’ll do some guided visualisation and learn some self-hypnosis techniques which you can also apply to other areas of your life.

 

Course Format

The course materials can be accessed from this website.

Once you submit your payment and register, you’ll be able to access and download all the materials for Module 1.

Seven days later, you’ll have access to the course materials for Module 2.  Seven days after that, you’ll be able to access the materials for the module 3.

The theoretical information in the course is available in several formats so you can choose your preferred learning style.

You can either read the information on the website itself or you can listen to the audio version.

If you prefer, you can also download the recordings to your computer or MP3 player.

You can also print or download transcripts of the recordings.

The first part of each module provides you with some background information, explanation and instructions.

The second part of each module contains the actual recording of the techniques for you to carry out while you listen to the audio.

Once you’ve completed course, you can continue to listening to the recordings as an aid to carrying out the techniques or you can continue to practise the exercises unaided, if you prefer to do so.

You can use these exercises to release stress, to relax and unwind or to help you to fall asleep.

Some of the techniques can be applied to other situations that crop up in life and can be used as a calming ritual before a potentially stressful or nerve-wracking situation such as a  job interview, making a speech or a performing at an audition.
